Hong Kong- 2 July 2002- Hong Kong's leading software provider, ARCOTECT Limited ("ARCOTECT") today announced that it has won 2 Government 30-month contracts in the provision of information technology (IT) professional services to various government departments. The Government has the option to extend the contracts for not more than 18 months.

Under the contract of Service Category A Group 1, ARCOTECT will provide departmental IT plan, feasibility and technical study, system analysis & design, system implementation and system integration services to various government departments. Under the contract of Service Category B Group 1, ARCOTECT will also provide website development, website maintenance and content management to government departments.

The Information Technology Services Department awarded contracts to 12 companies in the tender for the provision of IT professional services to Government departments. Arcotect together with the other 11 companies will provide IT professional services as and when required by Government departments during the 30-month period of the agreements, which will be effective from June 27, 2002.
