Arcotect recently completed the development of a B2C portal for Royal & Sun Alliance (RSA) Singapore. Code-name, project APOLLO, which stands for Asia Pacific On-Line Launch of One-Call, this is an on-line processing application that allows the sale and fulfillment of travel insurance over the web.

In conjunction with American Express International Inc., RSA is now able to bring to American Express Cardmembers the convenience of purchasing travel insurance over the web. Access to the website can be made at www.one-calltravel.com or via American Express' Singapore homepage at www.americanexpress.com.sg

American Express Cardmembers will be able to obtain premium quotations on-line by providing brief details of their trip such as destination and duration of travel. A choice of plans with different levels of benefits will be offered. Once the desired level of benefits is chosen, the cardmember then proceeds to provide personal and payment details.

Customer information is secured by using recognized industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology which encrypts the data whilst passing over the web.

The purchase of travel insurance is now available multi-channel from form-filling, over the phone and over the web.

At the One-Call Travel website, American Express Cardmembers will be able to receive premium quotations based on their region of travel and duration of the trip.

A choice of two plans is available - Standard or Superior, the latter representing higher levels of cover. Once the cardmember decides on the plan that best suits his or her needs, cover can be activated immediately by proceeding to the next stage of providing personal and payment details. Confirmation of cover is given immediately over the website through the issuance of a Certificate of Insurance.

To obtain full details of the cover, the cardmember can directly print the policy wording and/or the summary of benefits from the website. In the event of the need to submit a claim, a copy of the claim form can be downloaded.

Arcotect provided technical solutions such as system setup and configuration as well as the graphic design expertise through the construction over 20 web pages. Arcotect has demonstrated not only its technical expertise but also its talent in the area of graphic design.
